Sao Paulo festival featuring Iranian films

The 43rd Sao Paulo Int'l Film Festival in Brazil is featuring Iranian films.

The 43rd Sao Paulo International Film Festival, which is currently underway in Brazil, has been featuring a number of Iranian films.

The Iranian films taking part at the festival’s New Directors Competition are ‘Just 6.5’ (6.5 Per Meter) by Saeed Roustaee, ‘Labyrinth’ by Amir-Hossein Torabi and ‘The Warden’ directed by Nima Javidi.

Meanwhile, Reza Mirkarimi’s ‘Castle of Dreams’ and ‘Tehran: City Of Love’ by Ali Jaber-Ansari are being screened at the festival’s International Perspective section. ‘The Graveless’ by Mostafa Sayyari is also participating at the same section.

The 43rd edition of the festival is composed of six sections: Special Screenings, Tributes, Restorations, New Directors Competition, Mostra Brasil and International Perspective.

The two-week event, which is also known as Mostra, features more than 300 titles.

The 43rd Sao Paulo International Film Festival kicked off on October 17 and is set to run until October 30, 2019.
